We start off the show with a huge announcement - and it's probably not what you think.  Then, we talk about our weekend, which is less dinky then usual because of the high holidays.  (Shana Tova, everybody.)

Alan's sound is just terrible.  He will be getting a new microphone this weekend, no matter what.  This show kind of sounds like Jen is having a conversation with herself, which is really terrible.  The sound is so bad, we almost didn't post it, but we don't have time to record another show, so we're posting crap and we'll make up for it next show.

In this podcast, Jen introduces Alan to drinking while recording our show.  Yay for the Great Lakes Brew Company.  (Jen recommends Eliot Ness.)

Jen hates traffic and Alan tries to come up with solutions.
Saturday morning is right for our favorite deli and some coffee, then off to outlet malls.

We go out to eat a lot and talk about it.  Cleveland is a cheap place to eat and we don't like doing dishes.  Plus, Jen loves menus.

Jen stresses about work and her pod.

Alan offers Jen a spot on the floor to sleep on and she ignores him.

Then we have brunch and go to The Apple Festival and buy a lot of apples because there are a lot of apples in Ohio.

(The bell you hear ringing in the background is our cat walking around.)

Alan hates bowling because Jen beats him.  (Ha!  Alan got beat by a girl!)

Jen screws up the feedback pretty badly and looks like a big, dumb idiot.  Alan's microphone still sounds like crap.  Then, Jen apologizes to Carol for her comments on the last show where she implied something that she didn't mean.

Alan blames the beer.

Podcast Jen Loves - The podcast that we will never do, but completely facinates Jen.  Andrew and Misty have an amazing podcast and if you're not listening, you should be.  Alan and Jen are lazy city people who buy their meat at a grocery store.

We don't really have a local news segment because local news is too depressing.

We sadly decided not to go to the Portable Media Expo because we don't have enough podcast cred.  Next year we'll be there for sure!

Our intro music is from the Podsafe Music Network.  (I remembered this week!!)

Also, Jen sighs loudly several times at the end - sorry about that.  It's quite disturbing.

We worked hard on the echo problem - we still heard it a couple of times.  We'll continue to work on audio quality.

We babble for about thirty minutes about our Labor Day weekend and the weekend after.  We also breathe into our microphones and Jen says, "um" a lot.  We're working on sound quality, content quality, and general, overall quality, but you can't really tell in this show.
